Two teams still searching for their first win of the season go head-to-head at Leichhardt Oval, with Wests Tigers hoping to get the job done in front of their home fans against the Titans.

Last week, the Tigers showed plenty of fight against competition newcomers the Bulldogs, fighting back from a 12-0 halftime deficit two score two second-half tries. However, they were unable to convert either one and went down 12-8.

The inexperienced Gold Coast however - who were also missing key leader Brittany Breayley-Nati and Jaime Chapman for the game - were blown off the park in the early stages of the game against the Broncos, losing 44-4 in a disappointing display.

While they showed effort to the end, with Jasmine Solia going over late in the second half for their only try, coach Karyn Murphy would have been concerned with some of the defence, missing 43 tackles.

Wests Tigers: Only a couple changes for the Tigers who are hunting their first win of the season. Salma Nour returns to the line-up at hooker, shifting Pihuka Berryman-Duff back to the interchange bench. Amelia Huakau is also on the bench this week with Jade Fonua coming in at lock. Jessika Reeves misses this week's game after suffering a head knock last week.

Titans: Gold Coast welcome back fullback Jaime Chapman after she missed last week's heavy loss to the Broncos with hamstring tightness. That is one of a host of changes to the side that will see last week's debutant Lily Patston shift back to the wing alongside Georgia Grey who also moves from centre, with Kayla Jackson making way and Jasmine Solia returning to her favoured second row position. Sarina Masaga is the new centre this week. Lily Kolc will start at hooker with Taliah Fuimaono moving to the extended reserves. Sienna Lofipo will play lock in the place of suspended skipper Georgia Hale, with Lauren Brown to take on the captaincy duties. Lailani Montgomery and Laikha Clarke are the new faces on the bench, with Ngatokotoru Arakua shifting to the reserves. Shaianne McGlone is the 18th player.
