Warriors v Titans: Turua-Quedley steps up; Hale eyeing happy homecoming

The Warriors are out to extend their undefeated home record when they host the Titans on Saturday afternoon.

Ronald Griffiths side shut out the Eels at Go Media Stadium in Round 2, however they fell to the Knights in Newcastle last weekend.

A return to Auckland is the perfect opportunity to bounce back against the Gold Coast.

The Titans secured a confidence-building win over the Wests Tigers in Round 3, their first victory of the season.

Captain, and Kiwi Ferns star, Georgia Hale is set to return from suspension in a major boost for the visitors to take on her former team.

Team News

Warriors: Lydia Turua-Quedley will start at halfback for the first time this year. The playmaker has been elevated off the bench to replace the injured Emily Curtain (hip) in the No.7 jumper. Prop Matekino Gray also moves from the interchange to the starting side, with Lavinia Kitai reverting to the bench. Avery-Rose Carmont is set for her NRLW debut and has been named in jumper No.14. Kalyn Takitimu-Cook is listed in the reserves and is a chance of returning from a hamstring injury.

Titans: Georgia Hale's return from suspension has triggered a minor forward pack reshuffle, with Sienna Lofipo shifting from lock to prop and Takoda Thompson dropping back to the interchange. Canadian talent Megan Pakulis is the player to drop off the bench and has been named in the reserves. The backline remains unchanged, with Jaime Chapman at fullback and Lauren Brown at halfback.
