Roosters superstar Isabelle Kelly has taken the early lead in the race for the game's most prestigious individual honour the Dally M Medal.

Kelly was at her damaging best against the Dragons in Round 2, running for 198 metres and breaking six tackles, polling four Dally M votes to go with the five she collected in the opening round.

Hot on Kelly's heels is another Jillaroos gun in Julia Robinson, who had a day out against the Titans with 180 run metres, one line break, one try assist and a try in her side's 44-8 victory.

Robinson was one of four stars to poll the maximum six votes in Round 2, along with Cronulla's Emma Verran, Roosters forward Otesa Pule and Warriors fullback Apii Nicholls.
