Knights v Warriors: Gagai to fullback; Return of Cape-wah

After getting back on track last week with a win over Wests Tigers, the Warriors head to Newcastle with the Knights in their sights.

With a new-look spine that had NSW Cup performers Tanah Boyd (halfback) and Taine Tuaupiki (fullback) step in after injuries forced a reshuffle, the Warriors were still able to click into gear to post a strong 34-14 win.

Newcastle however fell to the Storm last week despite getting out to an early lead which they were able to take into halftime.

However, despite a late try from Fletcher Hunt playing in only his second game at fullback this season, they were unable to match it with the Storm in the second and will be hoping to muscle up against the visitors this week.

Team News

Knights: Dane Gagai will captain the side from fullback, after making a late switch to the position prior to last week's game. Fletcher Hunt will start in the centres as he did last Saturday. The loss of Dylan Lucas to a foot injury has seen Brodie Jones come into the starting side, with Tyson Gamble the new face on the bench. Tyson Frizell has also shifted to the interchange, with Phoenix Crossland named to start at lock. Jayden Brailey moves to hooker as a result.

Warriors: Just one change to the side that defeated the Wests Tigers last week, with Kurt Capewell making his return from Origin duties in the centres. Capewell replaces Rocco Berry, who injured his shoulder on Sunday afternoon.
